Designed and built an A Level maths resource page for a maths teacher to host revision and exam resources to students and teachers. The site is split into two parts: For Students and For Teachers.

View the website at:

For Students

Designed to make learning and revising different topics of A Level maths as easy and intuitive as possible. It takes the form of 3 parts:

šŸ“™Ā Learn

Watch and learn along to the curated YouTube videos made by Peter Stanway specifically for the platform.

āœ…Ā Check

Test your knowledge on specially created quizzes. The quiz is a custom component written by myself that is hosted on a google sheet to allow Peter to update questions and answers on each quiz. We also ran an A/B test to return scores produced by pupils in an entire school (we could map ip addresses to referral codes) however removed the feature due to privacy concerns by schools.

āœļøĀ Apply

Each section then comes with an exam paper made up of real questions, all centred around the topic you have just learnt about.

For Teachers

Teachers didn’t want to create whole new content for the new syllabus - especially in a political climate where this could happen very frequently, so we saw a time that we could sell Peter’s teaching content that further supported the ā€˜For Students’ platform. Schools could pay for multiple teacher accounts who then had access to Powerpoints, homework sheets and end of term tests.

Development

The website is built using Wordpress and Elementor because Peter also wanted to be able to contribute and tweak things. The backend is hosted on Google Sheets, again so that there was as minimal of a learning curve as possible for Peter.
